What
is Greenstone?
Community Futures Greenstone is an initiative of the federal government,
specifically the Community Futures Program.
This program allows communities in need to be the designers, leaders and
directors in solving long term community concerns.
The program gives communities the tools they require to address these
problems and helps them plan a coordinated response to the demands of
the changing economy.
Greenstone Mission Statement
"Through the provision of financial, technical and planning assistance,
Greenstone assists the communities in the region to maintain and diversify
the economic base."
