Business Development Fund

Western Youth Entrepreneur Fund

· Term Loan

· Up to $10,000 per Applicant

· Applicants must be between 18 and up to and including 29 years of age

· Security required

Entrepreneurs With Disabilities Fund

· Term Loan

· Up to $75,000 max per Applicant

· Applicant must have a disability that impairs their ability to perform at least one of the basic activities of self-employment or entrepreneurship

Self-Employment Program

The Self-Employment Program is a tool that helps individuals to create jobs for themselves. This program provides various types of support during the period of start up. Greenstone coordinates the program in conjunction with the Goverment of Manitoba Competitiveness, Training and Trades Department through the Flin Flon Employment Centre.

To be eligible, you must meet all of the following requirements:

· Be unemployed

· Be eligible for an Insurance claim, or had a claim that ended within the last three years

· Be legally entitled to work in Canada

· Attend an orientation session

· Attend evening training sessions

· No previous participation in the Self-Employment Assistance activity

· Agree to provide a business plan

· New or existing business

· Work full time (minimum of 30 hours/week)

· Contribute equity
